We’ve reached the halfway point — two weeks left of Riverside Flavours – Fall Edition!

A new campaign by the Riverside BIA, Riverside Flavours – Fall Edition puts the spotlight on local venues offering a unique dish or drink inspired by classic fall warming spices: cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and nutmeg. Riverside Flavours – Fall Edition will run until November 15th!

In our previous feature, we were treated to a Jamaican staple courtesy of BlessedLove. This week, we’re taking you to The West Cork Irish Pub for their take on a beloved comfort food:

“The ‘Best West Mac and Cheese’ was a dish I made for my niece over the years. When I saw the key ingredients for Riverside Flavours, I thought this was great for the campaign,” said Chef Jeremy Elliot of The West Cork. Aside from al dente macaroni, a gooey cheese blend and bread crumbs for texture, the addition of nutmeg gives The West Cork’s Best West Mac and Cheese a subtle yet distinct autumnal flavour perfect for the season.
