Newsom warns of missiles over I-5, but freeway will remain open during live-fire Camp Pendleton event

Gov. Gavin Newsom raised concerns over a White House-directed plan to use live ordnance during a military anniversary celebration off Camp Pendleton's coast — where his office says Navy ships are expected to fire over Interstate 5 and onto the base.
